OwnTime

Make sure what matters gets its time.

Turn your priorities into daily time budgets. OwnTime shows you what’s being neglected while there’s still time to change course—on iPhone, Apple Watch, or both.

Define a small set of priorities — the things in your life that actually matter — give each one a daily budget, and start or stop sessions as the day unfolds. Use OwnTime on your iPhone, on your Apple Watch, or on both at once: each device is a full peer that works on its own, and when they’re paired your priorities and sessions stay in sync automatically. The watch is built for the next two seconds of intent — glance, start, stop — with no need to reach for your phone.

What makes it different

Hands-free with Siri

Every core action is a Siri phrase—on iPhone and Apple Watch—and doubles as a Shortcuts action you can drop into automations. On Apple Watch Ultra you can bind the toggle to the Action Button and start or stop without a word.

Say a phrase with a priority name to act on it directly, or leave the name out and Siri asks which priority you mean. Replace [priority] below with one of your own, like “Deep Work.”

Start a session

  • “Start OwnTime”
  • “Resume OwnTime”
  • “Start [priority] in OwnTime”
  • “Start an OwnTime for [priority]

Stop a session

  • “Stop OwnTime”
  • “Suspend OwnTime”
  • “Stop [priority] in OwnTime”
  • “Stop the OwnTime for [priority]

Start or stop in one phrase

  • “Toggle OwnTime”

Toggles the running session—stops it if one is going, otherwise starts the last priority. This is the phrase to bind to the Action Button.

Log time you already spent

  • “Log past time in OwnTime”
  • “Log past [priority] time in OwnTime”
  • “Log a past OwnTime for [priority]

Siri asks how many minutes to record against the priority’s budget.

Private by design

OwnTime has no server and no account. Your priorities and sessions live on the device you create them on; when you use more than one, they sync directly between your own paired devices over Apple's WatchConnectivity — never through us, and never to the cloud. Read the full privacy policy.

No Apple Watch required. Use OwnTime on your iPhone alone, on your Apple Watch alone, or both together — kept in sync directly between your own devices.
